This is the “hey look at me” brands.
The business is usually named after them.
They are the hero and the customer should want to buy from them over the competition because look how great they are!
It's not their fault, they don't know any better... and this used to work really well.
But customers don’t give a shit about you, they give shits about themselves. Lots of them.
So if you’re selling at them, they will eventually disconnect and bounce.
That's not going to give us the staircase revenue we're looking for while sittin' in mexican beach bars.
